    우린 함께 아틀라스 내에서 점점 커지는 위협과 맞서 싸우는 데 전념했어요.

    하지만 맹목적인 추적이란 늘 그렇듯, 우린 우리 주위를 감싼 위험을 보지 못했죠. 목적에 사로잡혀 우리 자신과 서로가 치러야 하는 대가를 보지 못했어요.

    시간이 지나며 아틀라스는 사이러스를 지배했어요. 그는 육신만이 아니라 사명까지 변형되었죠. 무언가... 알아볼 수 없는 것으로 뒤틀렸어요. 우리 사이에 존재했던 모든 건 예전의 그와 함께 죽어 버렸죠.

    아마 제 잘못일 거예요. 제가 그런 징후를 보고, 그가 우릴 기다리는 것에 대비할 수 있게 해줬어야 하는데. 전 많은 걸 미처 보지 못했지만... 이제는 보지 않으려고 해요. 부패를, 왜곡을... 슬픔을 보지 않기로 선택했죠.
